Hello, Jerry will be off the board for some time due to a family member in hospital. I will now will be continuing the FAWM challenge using tracks created by Jerry that I have saved to my PC.
I assume that many of his tracks here have Scotsman's drums in them, or samples/loops of his beats, but I don't know which.
I'm also using Lyrics by Jimmy(fasttrings) and modifying them to fit the music. Thanks Jimmy, you're lyrics are great and saving me a lot of time.
My mixing is not the best, but FAWM is about getting the idea down, not so much on recording quality.

These project, all of them, are incomplete. I can't help that...but at least I can give you what I got. If you want to mess with it...that's cool. Some of them...more difficult then others because of tempo changes. Other than that...its easy music intended for vocals
I can work on those songs. But I'v noticed that they are not finished. Guts, Bomb and Uncharted doesn't have voices yet. I'll wait for the tracks, if you want me to mix it of course. It won't take me to much time to do it.

I have this clickmix for the higher ground. I did mixdown the tracks, and I'll try to get that one uploaded in the morning. This one is pretty good...I think.
Yes, I wanted Luke to go ahead and release the premix versions. They can be updated at any time...its easy. High Ground is for Mark to play drums when he gets a chance to, and we can update with a brand new full mix.

Yeah, those that I don't have vocals on yet, Jerry has sent to me already. When I add a vocal, I'll upload my mix and a vocal track too.

And here's the vocal WAV file (dry vocals no FX): Note; I have included a small clip of the bed track at 0:31:17 because there was no space at the start of the track or the end to include it there. so when anyone mixes, remember to cut out that clip from the vocal track or you'll get strange levels there.

Grugy, I'm currently downloading that uncharted zip. I haven't messed with that project yet...I'll have more on that later.
Thanks Panzer. I think some parts work well and some parts sounds wrong key. I like the way the guitar sounds...nice tone...nice and clean. I don't know...and lets see what others think, and I will listen again in a little. I working on something right now and I only have a little more time.

I got the uncharted zip downloaded and into a new uncharted project. This mix, I cut the first 2 bars of the bass because of a problem there. It sounds fine though. I did nothing with this mix but lower the output and fix that bass problem.

Panzer, I noticed FAWM seems to only let you put one other collaborator down on your track... If you link your version of "Take it to higher ground "on your FAWM profile and then make Jimmy (rockwrites) the co-collaborator for your Fawm count, that would then show on your profile and his.

Hey Luke My Friend oh thank you I really appreciate it. This song is just Awsome!. I am playing it a second time now. Man the lyrics are excellent I read those three times lol. I may have helped write the songs but Luke it is you and Jerry and Grugy and Panzer with the real talent and hard work. Me I can't sing at all and I can't play an instruement lol. I did tried the flute once and failed bad at it. lol.
This is how bad it was in high school for me. When the music teacher heard me sing lol. She said Jimmy just stand in the back and fake it if you can? That kind of ruined my confidence lol. Hi Grungy, I recorded this to your noname track. I enjoyed this, a good opportunity to display vocal range.... btw I can hit lower notes and higher than that, but not by much haha.
I like the atmosphere of this track, good work on that, sounds a bit strong in the high frequencies mostly on cymbals/hats, but that could be due to Mp3 format affecting bed track.
With the vocals, I' uploaded a wet mix, I used different FX on different buses and a combination of plugins ..... If you want a dry version or a wav version let me know.
I looped part of the bed track to extend it a little, I copied from 0:49 and mixed it from 2:31 to make a repeat of the part "there's people everywhere..." and then fade to the end.
Got my presonus interface today described on ebay as-used 4 times
and as good as new--scratches on the top and bottom and marks on
the side.......it was in my posession 1 hr and after a few pms on ebay
its on its way back..
175 transactions and this is the worst item described as new i have
had...well pissed off.
